Freebies are ALWAYS good !
My buddy picked it up for me at our Thrift store Value Village, I later went and got an awesome condition Mortima diver, just needed a simple service, crystal polish and the bezel painted. A good day hunting

I’m looking for a replacement crystal for this. Any suggestions?

It appears to be perfect, I can't see the issue. If it's acrylic or plastic a polish may be all it needs. Polywatch or multi grit stage buffing and polish with a jewelers rouge finish.

1959 Geneve 2903. One of my first vintage purchases and still a favorite.
About as perfect an angle as one could take!!

Muhle Glashutte Metior
Good brand! I have a Muhle Glashutte SAR Rescue Timer. Solid watch, very well-made.

Going Amphibious!

These watches don’t get enough love/appreciation. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t represent some of the best value watches/investment watches one could seek at this time. I remember when AK variants were merely $200.

Happily up 'n over da hump 😀

Ironically, I just commented about Russian divers and how little respect they get. Not even remotely a similar comparison but I remember not to many years ago when this model Rolex was despised/the neglected reference. Since then they tripled their value. Nice pick up. Too bad we didn’t all buy these Explorer IIs 5 years ago.
