Today's selection old faithful......
First and only owner. One of a handful of watches I bought new.
Happy and restful Sunday before the grind tomorrow 😀
Seventy years old. Omega Seamaster calibre 355 bumper automatic, date at 6, original unrestored hobnail dial with crosshairs. Discovered in pieces and brought back to life several years ago. Modern model 2627 stainless steel case. Last day on the wrist for a week as we are trailering in the Rocky Mountains, next week.
Biblical rains of late here in the Garden State….going with something “waterproof” today, Taubert & Fils cased Empire circa mid-1930s.
oh you to. I just got s call from work the place is flooding. With great relief I told the caller I’m not on call this week and told her who to call. Dodged a bullet on that one. I’m getting tornado and flood warnings on my phone. I’m putting on something waterproof just in case but I’m noticing my work phone is running out of charge and it would be a shame if I forget to charge it
The G-Shock was useful for making timezone changes, of which there were many.
The Ranger for pretty much everything else, including a formal wedding, two weeks in the Middle East staying with our children and grandchildren, and a week on the road in Ireland with right-hand-drive and left-hand shifting.
...and our furry child was delighted beyond measure with our return 😀
When we returned from our 3-week holiday it was fun to look at the watch box again, with all those shiny faces saying hello. Which did I choose as the first to wear?
