Getting the dust of my Tissot Touch,
Never thought it was considered a "smart watch" back then.

Great watch, Marc really puts out a great product, he's also done an amazing piece co-produced with TGV (founder Urban Gentry Watch Collectors) in a limited run of 500 pieces.

A buddy’s watch. I thought it would look way too big, but not so bad!??

Too big for such a small wrist, you should wear a 33mm watch imo.

Alpha Hotel.

Trying an aftermarket bracelet for the recently acquired Orient Kamasu.

Not a huge fan of wearing watches with bracelets, but it's hot in Texas and a watch that is bracelet rigged is sometimes handy.

On its originally supplied strap.
How do you like your orient I was looking at a moonphase they have but I think it’s a bit large I do not have an orient yet been meaning to get one.

Eh?

I only acquired it on a whim for fun, based on seeing an Orient diver our own Aroxx has been featuring some in WRUW.

So, I'm suggestible.

I'm enjoyed it better than I expected. I viewed the watch as a new acquisition that could mainly do beater duty for very casual wear around the house . It's not quite "travel" grade as would meet my personal standards, but will stay within a minute over four days which isn't bad and allows it to serve if we make a quick road trip to see the grandchildren on a long weekend. Thought to try the dark marine blue and didn't know if it'd suit me, but I quite like it now. Getting ready this evening to go out to a new Czech restaurant we've not yet tried and the Orient diver is tagging along. It's 105F just now as we prepare to go out the door so the bracelet may be welcome.

I don't even care for day/date features, but this one's easy and positive to manipulate. I am OCD enough to have to set it each time a watch so equipped is brought out even if I don't consult it.

The lume is nice and bright. Best watch lume I've ever had.

I'm normally not a bracelet fan on my own wrist, preferring to wear "all straps, all the time." Picked up the aftermarket bracelet from off Ebay. Venio is the brand I suppose? Was inexpensive, but features solid links rather than the hollow links links referred to in reviews of the similar factory Orient Kamasu bracelet. Hollow links sound cheesy to me. This bracelet is a heavy chunk, more weighty than the Speedmaster's bracelet or any of the other few bracelets around here. This new bracelet would double as a deadly weapon by comparison.

I'm really branching out in my dotage, being well retired. The dress/town vintage watches have to share duties with divers and beater watches these days.

Like you I always eschewed heavy bracelets, preferring leather straps but recently, I’ve found bracelets more comfortable.

I have bought a couple of genuine vintage Omega bracelets but have developed a liking for new ‘Omega’ 😉 BoR, off eBay or Etsy, which work well on my vintage Omega and Longines.
