Did Gruen save some of the best for last? - Ca. 1975 Gruen "Big Triangle" 200M Diver - Ref 754 - powered by a 25J, ETA 2783 automatic movement. This was likely part of the last attempt at an "incarnation" of the Gruen Watch Company, launching heavily into quartz watches and some more rare mechanical/automatics like this one. Sadly, the attempt (and Gruen) ultimately failed in 1976. These last Gruen models carried a "snowflake" logo which can be seen on the dial and in older Gruen warrantee and paper documentation. Interestingly, Rolex purchased the Precision Factory and now it's a Rolex administration building.

Survived the first of 3 flights, solo parenting with a 5-year-old.

Little dude already earned his wings. Now, I'll have to start saving up for a 1675 for him, I guess.
