An American icon on the 4th of July. Worn by the first astronauts in the A12 and SR71, later in Gemini.
This exact watch came from the son of the original owner. His father worked on early NASA communications. One day, he met John Glenn, who saw his dad's watch (this watch) and said, "Nice watch!"
It still is a nice watch. (It also came with box and papers, hang tag, and extra original battery. A piece of history.)
Honkin'-big 44.25mm Moonwatch. Auto-winding Co-Axial movement. Traded one register for the date window. I know it's not canon with the original historic Moonwatch but it's a compromise I like.
