·I thought my job was being nice. I’ve been on call (ends Sunday at 12a) and I lost two nights of sleep cause we had some crazy stuff happen. Anyway I just found out they let one of the other coordinators go and had I been there I would have stuck up for him. I think they wanted me working at home so I didn’t interfere with their plans. They also know I would not have been happy as I like the guy and he confided in me some mental health struggles he was dealing with which I urged him to put in writing as that would have given him some ADA protection.
Just sad as I feel like they kicked someone who was down. I don’t have the juice to change things but that means next week I’m running clinical myself and tbh I can’t meet with 100 people in four days and expect to actually accomplish anything. Here is the offending phone which made my life miserable and contributed to me being unable to be there for a guy who could have really used someone in his corner. Life is real tough sometimes, got my world timer on to bring some cheer.
