Single dial versions are popular amongst Polo players as I understand it.

I watched a restoration video on YouTube very recently of the single dial Reverso and it made me appreciate a watch that I really never had any interest in.

The watchmaker there said it was indeed initially developed for polo players in order to protect the crystal. Probably not but it sounds good!

British Summer Time (BST) starts today and I’ve spent a little OCD time forwarding my rotation watches by an hour.

(For six months of the year we’re on GMT, and six months BST)

Do you have your automatic rotation watches in a winder?

No, I don’t.

I had a winder once but it didn’t really work for me.

I’m stupidly fickle and will often delve into my watch box or sock drawer for an impulsive change and it’s only the older watches that don’t have a quick change function.

Two of my general rotation are f300 Omegas and I have a couple of Dan Henry meca-quartz, so it’s only three or four that I have to monitor for time and date 😀
