This is my latest arrival, looked at them for years and eventually found one that fitted my condition and price criteria.

Strap is from one of our very own and looks great with the creamy dial plots.

After a nice, long weekend, it’s back to really.
And yes I’m still slightly sick.

Great morning Forum!! What a day in southern Maine! Blue, blue skies and warmth!
Maine? We're neighbors I'm to your left in New Brunswick, we try to get over at least once a month. Maine is a beautiful state!

83 years young, we don't see enough 40's watches here.
The Art Deco dial face looks the same as the Smiths synchro electric mantle clock we had when I was a kid in the 60's

I'm not 100% sure of the vintage but I believe this is in that ca. 1940's range.

Iridescent azul excellence! - ca. 1971 Mathey-Tissot “Mergulhador” Skin Diver - Ref. 1635 - powered by a “Ultra High Frequency” (UHF) ETA 2784 automatic movement. (f ~ 28,800 A/h vs. 21,600 A/h) - Mergulhador meaning “scuba diver” in Portuguese, which makes since as many of these carry a Portuguese import stamp.
