路Not the best picture, but just got this back from our local watchmaker. Somewhat rare combination of a Birks logo on an Omega; 23.4SC movement, dates to early 1940s given the dial and hand design.

It is a beauty indeed! 馃憤 Love the red seconds hand which looks quite pristine, by the way.

路This was an impulse buy today (along with a 1950s Longines). I absolutely adore it, because I鈥檝e long wanted a tuning fork watch, and the fact that the case is a bit battered means I can wear it and not worry.
