With all the cologne experimenting I've been doing lately, not to mention the significant coin that's being flushed away with all the samples + asinine shipping I'm getting fleeced on while doing so, I felt like a large enough douchebag to pull out the Rawlexx X-Plodder, set it, wash it & put it on.
At least it was Golden Hour here in New Mexico.
I serviced my 32 year old Speedmaster (345.0808) with the 863 calibre movement, on March 14. I did a minor regulation on it on March 16, and set it to the second. Six days later, (March 22), it has gained 2 seconds! In the three decades of ownership, this is the first real accuracy assessment I have done on it. I have read reports from other owners that these watches can be quite accurate. I am now a believer!
