First full day with my humble presage. Nice day out I must say

There it is, in all its redness glory!

My favorite color and I don't have a watch with a red dial.

This week I’ve been wearing my 3861 on a new strap from George at Genteel partly because the black suede is super sexy (I think), and because my 68 Transitional has been running fast. The one watch “intervention” I can accomplish is working those blue demagnetizers, and after the Lepsi app confirmed magnetization of the 68 this morning I got to work. I guess my lovely and talented wife had never witnessed this horological ballet, and she found it hilarious. First, that I would have a device to demagnetize watches, and then to work it so masterfully! It was awesome; I felt like I was 12 and I had gotten busted looking at naked people doing naked people things. Anyhoo, jokes on her anyway ‘cause after five hours the 68 is spot on. Thanks once again demagnetizer thing!!!

First trip ‘home’ in over three years…Calgary rocks. City never stops growing. Arts, music and craft brewery scene are off the hook.

A little Saturday afternoon de-badging.

Well, re-badging I guess. Going from silver horse to black.

I know you are a no date guy and tbh these presage models would be nice without the date, I just need the date complication for work cause my memory can be scary bad on important stuff (stupid things I retain well) Anyway for the money I think this is a good watch at it’s price point it’s well made, looks nice and I can wear it without the fear of being out large money if broken or stolen as some nights I go out with the homeless outreach team and we are in wooded campsites or abandoned buildings and it can be a bit sketchy. Anyway I would have no problem recommending this watch coming up on 24 hours of having it.

I think your Daytona looks great on rubber maybe it brings it down a notch or something I’m not sure, could just be the dark band but it seems less ostentatious although that may not be the right word it’s just coming to mind at the moment.

It's very practical and comfortable plus it will never show scratch marks unlike a steel bracelet.

Colour and match to the watch face is great too, though I must say at first I was a little unconvinced as to its look however it's grown on me now for its ability to blend rather than shout bling like many other Rolexs do.

My freshly reconditioned 345.0808, 32-year old Speedmaster with the calibre 853 movement, last minor regulation and re-set 48-hours ago, and it has picked up one second! I have always somewhat doubted those who claim remarkable accuracy from their Speedmaster….until now. I have become a believer. In my 32 years of ownership, I have never really given it a serious test as to accuracy.
