This one's rather scruffy compared to other, stellar examples of this reference owned by Forum members, but still a lot of fun to wear 😀

Time again to exercise the Bucherer two-register chronograph with a 17-jewel Landeron calibre 48 movement. The calibre 48 was introduced circa 1937, and produced until 1970. This one is in a gold filled “clamshell” case with steel back, and I estimate it would be circa mid 1950s. Close to 70 years old. I’ve owned it for about 20 years, but hadn’t worn it until I serviced it, early in January. (Finger mark on the balance cock no longer there since servicing!)

3 hours, 2 minutes, and 7 seconds was how long it took to complete this lab work for school. That makes 12 hours this week. Time to call it a night

I'm surprised at how much I like this - not just days but weeks - seriously impressed.

Easily legible, nice case, nice uncomplicated dial and it looks to be a nice size as well.

Actually more useful than I thought. 6 weeks until my daughters birthday at a glance.
