Now that the Moon is out of sight for a few days and Mr. Thin Moon is back in the watch box, it's going to be a regular ol' Seiko Saturday 😀

Imperial Japanese Navy 1940 issued pilot watch used by the Zero Fighter squadrons. This one is #946 one of 18 remaining.

Longines Weems ref 4356 order 20853 (IJN)

Quite extraordinary @Seiji -- thanks for sharing that here.

I like your Orange Monster.

Thanks for the compliment on 946. Few people seem to understand it.

You may be interested to know that there is a genuine Zero fighter currently being restored to air-worthy status at a small airport near my home (KCMA) by the local wing of the Commemorative (formerly Confederate) Air Force. It may be finished before the end of the year, it looks amazing.

Ya, that’s it. My favorite of your collection of which I was first to call dibs on with the payment plan at 0 interest.
