Had to change watches as I have a broken bulb I need to remove the base. Anyone ever try the potato trick? You cut the potatoes so it fills the thread on the broken base and you can usually get it out. I’ve had good luck probably a 70% success rate, this one is being a bit stubborn but I’ll get it Edit: ha ha worked

I just use linesman or needle nose pliers or a screwdriver but I'm an old Navy snipe.

I had to throw in some needle nose pliers to bend the edges so the potato caught better. The potato just seems to make turning it a bit easier but yeah several tools can do the job it’s just cool using food to do such a job.
