·Acquired on Saturday, serviced today. Waltham 1877 model, 13-jewels, 18-size, hunter case, circa 1885. Close to 140 years old. Needed a balance staff, mainspring, minute hand, crystal, one case screw (all of which I had on hand), and recondition. In remarkable condition for a watch of this vintage.

I never heard of the brand but my wife's from Frostburg, MD so that piques my interest.

·Part of last year's resolution was to buy a couple of watches representative of US contemporary watchmaking. I decided to buy the Raven from Tsao (I missed the 1st run of this one in Purple so I waited to buy one from the 2nd run of 50) and a Waterloo from Dufrane. I will certainly check Towson which I never heard before.
