Still running into cat food shortages and some lady was just dumping everything on the shelf’s into her cart as a few of us who wanted to get a few days worth looked on in horror. Worked out a deal with the other customers so we could each get six days worth.
Maybe I shouldn’t judge perhaps the hoarder lady had a good reason for her actions.
At least when I arrived home my wife’s gifts came her B-day and christmas are close together I didn’t think the packages would make it as I got a delay notice so got some safety net flowers. I’m glad they arrived as mrs walrus is running a department at work now and it looks a bit stressful but she isn’t a baby like me and very infrequently complains about much at all, other than me. I’m happy I get to give her a few surprises despite her putting out this Chinese warrior decoration which she says represents peace and prosperity but looks evil to me.
Not your common skin diver - ca. 1971 Mathey-Tissot “Mergulhador” Skin Diver - Ref. 1635 - powered by a “Ultra High Frequency” (UHF) ETA 2784 automatic movement. (Some vintage marketing there) - Mergulhador meaning “scuba diver” in Portuguese, which makes since as many of these carry a Portuguese import stamp. The iridescent blue dial on this one is just gorgeous and changes hues depending on the light. They also were available in red, green, brown & silver dials if your lucky enough to come across one.
It's now bedtime, but earlier today I was with our youngest son at his club gun range verifying the scope on his rifle. Earlier this hunting season he was walking along a road on our old family place and the sling swivel pulled out of the fore end of the rifle's stock. The rifle hit the ground and the scope was knocked pretty hard.
