Are you using our old BDUs? Woodland type.
Probably, the gear I used in the 80`s were of "Band of brothers" type, puttees and all. This uniform was new(?) back then and we used it as summer/work uniform.

It’s reminiscent of the woodland BDU s issued to the US army, Air Force and marines in the 80s.

Taking a Dead Sea stroll?

Didn’t bring an expendable watch with me for my New Year’s Day trip to Jordan.
I thought a WRUNW Today thread was worth a try to gift you with this Dead Sea shot.

Happy new year all!

The positive thing is that it will never be mistaken for any other watch and its not really that bad, more excentric maybe.

This is a repost, but I am so glad that I am not wearing that Garmin today.
Firstly I dont need nor want all those functions I am sure that hockey puck have.
Secondly its, in my opinion, an ugly pice of much too big plastic. Thirdly its way too expencive at 1200 Euros. Lastly I am sure it would have given me grief, like most electronic devices does.

The Seamaster I am wearing gives me nothing but joy. It have the functions I need, without needing charging or updates. It have been reliable, more so than my digital diver. I still think it looks fantastic, even after owning it for many years. I think this one is expencive too, but when I die my heirs would be able to get more than I gave for it if they sell it.

I use one garmin too, and I see it only as a tool. It’s hard growing attachment for those kind of watches, while for your Seamaster, well 😍
For future purchases consider you may get more or less the same functionalities for 1/4 of the price (Forerunner 265)
