Have fun

Recently saw Bob Dylan again. Do he wrote this album three years ago when he was 79, wrote a number of songs since. Now at 82 he is still touring the world. I know there are many older people who remain sharp but Dylan smoked, drank to excess, got lost in herion, LSD and god knows what other drugs.

As someone with a family member with Alzheimer’s it would be great if they could find the key that allows humans to do this. Obviously Dylan has a gift but damn to mentally function at such a high level at 83. Nobel prize winner. True American poet. Does it just come down to genetics?

It’s debatable but I also think Dylan was rapping before rap was a thing (earlier artists can be found doing similar stuff)

I attended my first Christmas party today. It was very simple and laid back the way I like them. For some reason I’m feeling the Christmas spirit this year seems to have been a while

Two very different and still related things. Mozart (40 Symphony) and In Flames (State of Slow Decay). I like both classical music and heavy metal, and I am sure that if some of the componists from the past had the modern tools, they would be into metal 😀

Yep! this is 65!!! Strange wonderful video with Alan Ginsberg in the background looking like a rabbi filmed in an alley just behind the Savoy Hotel in London; it's about 4-5 years before Gill Scott Heron:
