The (original) Wailers - First live performance on the BBC 1973.. Stunning!!!
Nice find, Marley had such a sweet voice and a unique world view that permeated his music and reggae is just so friggin cool.

Thank you.. I couldn't agree more, he's lyrics were extraordinary, and the sweetness of Peter Tosh's melodious riffs and backing vocals were beautiful.. Bob was living in London, and this original Wailers band lasted for the best part of three albums, and are for me, the best of the best,
I just wish they could have stuck together, but Bunny and Peter et al, just didn't want to travel, especially to Babylon..

Not to mention their pithy, biting, and yet relevant social commentary.

The Kinks, Great call!
Live at the BBC 1973 is one that I always go back to, the energy, the joy, the cheekiness, the humour etc.. Love them!
I’m big on the kinks as well. I kinda get the feeling they would have been content playing garages and dive bars but their talent far exceeded that setting. Kind of like when you listen to interviews with the Beatles in 63–65 they were hoping their fame would last long enough that they could open supermarkets and hair cutting shops. They had no idea what was coming.

I am literally just fielding phone calls from work instructing people on how to deescalate situations and covering call outs. Started in earnest last night at 12:20a. I have 1 more week of this so far I am lucky only had to go in once but I am dreading the ring of the phone and trying to catnap in between. I feel like I’m working at a call center as a part time job at the moment
