Beside the walking path on a quiet South Vancouver street, there's a plaque recognizing how Loretta Lynn was first discovered playing at a local jam session down by the Fraser River. Essentially farmland back then, the neighbourhood has somewhat changed over the past 63 years. We live a couple of blocks away and enjoy walking past this nod to history every day.

You ever see van in concert. He is fantastic but damn he was almost like a mannequin on the stage hardly moved at all. I only saw him once I don’t know if that’s just his style or that particular night but damn van the man can write

I have been looking for this version. It was left out of the Scoresce film although it was on film. Dylan never plays the same song twice and this is such a unique arrangement vs. the blood on the tracks version it’s like a different song

True that, about Dylan's unique performances of his tunes.

I listened through that "Official HD Video" of "Not Dark yet" yesterday as I was posting and noticed a difference in the CD version I'd just heard.

I saw that tour “Time out of Mind” I think you said you did as well. It’s amazing at that time I was thinking this is one of his finest albums but 25 years later he is still writing amazing stuff, plus the 25 years prior.

He said on stage one time the thing that keeps him going is mathematically he has the ability to tweak each song so it’s never played the same way, keeps things fresh I guess.
