I dont know how much you know Cohen, but if you are starting the trip, Ten New Songs is a very accessible album from his later incarnation.

I know

In my defence most of Cohen's best stuff was written before I was born.

I definitely need to start listening to more of his stuff. I've been on a trip through Nick Drake and I really like Nick Cave so hence why it probably came up in my Spotify recommended.

Amazing, I had front row tickets to see him in my area about 10 years ago. That night we had an emergency at work I got mandated to come in. I always regret picking up the phone that day, especially when I heard of his passing last year. I’ve seen numerous great shows but that one would have been at a small venue and he really used to play off the crowd I probably missed the best concert I would have seen
