Celebrating my personal record for consecutive days listening to SECRET TREATIES by listening to SPECTRES
Big fan of the vibraphone (Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Gary Burton, Cal Tjader) but somehow I never stumbled across 'Soul Sauce' by Cal Tjader, recorded in 1964. Terrific jazz, latin and soul beat. Out of print but tracked down a used CD....great stuff. (244) Cal Tjader Soul Sauce (Guachi Guaro) - YouTube
For some reason.... I don't even really like "techno". But for some reason it's working for me today.
My friend, Bobby Liebling (Who I have known since 8th grade) is the leader/singer of the doom metal band Pentagram. Bobby has a new side project called "The Limit" - more Stooges/MC5 punk, then hard rock or metal.
