Bought this 1st uk pressing yesterday and what a great record it is , been listening to The Doors a lot recently & I must say it’s opened a few for my listening pleasure.
Not even my favorite track on this album but the one that is in my head right now. So having said there here is my favorite...I think And then an awesome cover for the Rush fans
And another classic added to the fold , been on the lookout for a good 1st uk pressing for a while and this one ticks the required boxes . If anyone just so happens to have the 12 postcards spare that originally came with the album I will gladly take them off your hands ( best Rolling Stones tongue emoji I could find )
Friday afternoon wind down with two of my favourites to start the weekend off in the best way , Oasis & Kula Shaker Classic 90s fayre ,
Some of my favourites from my youth , I played the quodrophenia album so much when it came out my Dad banned me from playing it when he was in the house , and he really likes the Who . I think it must have been the repetition that did his head in ....And the Specials & Madness played a big part of my teenage years and were the soundtrack for many of my firsts in life .
A very young Robert Plant(1968) on one cut, vocal and harmonica. A who’s who of British Blues players passed through Alexis Korner’s groups in the 1960’s.
