I saw them both in a stage show a couple of years ago where it was a couple of hours of them poking fun at each other, telling stories, and yes Steve and the band playing the banjo. Pretty sure Martin made that comment to Steve in the show.

There is a filmed version of that show somewhere out there, which I saw on one of the streaming services, and it was clear they were friends making with the scripted jokes. I enjoyed it a lot too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw him make the joke on one of the late night shows where they were both appearing to promote the tour they did together.

·Imagine you are driving with the windows down on a long bridge with no one around you and when the song hits the 1:06 min mark you downshift to 3rd and floor it and run it all the way the way to the top and slam it into 4th. Then proceed to quickly brake and drop it right back into 6th because you are a law abiding citizen. May or may not have actually happened this morning on my way into the office.
