By a strange co-incidence I've had this on non stop since it was sent to me by a friend 2 days ago. Was the first thing I ever owned on CD too.

 

It did turn out to be one of those day. Some random YouTube links and now I am Kimming (Basinger). UK Bank holiday time - weather is good - so time to party and shake your head -

 

Not as many played alto After Bird made the tenor, “the sax” of Bop, but a few did, Phil Woods was tops, but I like the other Pepper, Pepper Adams, on alto a bit better.

Phil with Quill both on alto are a treat, late 50’s.
