Yup got a few in the back of the case. The gins and Amaros are all in the front.

Playing around with this “Gin” made from rye grain distillate then adds botanicals then aged in Syrah and Grenache wine barrels with a tequila age statement.

Tried a Gin and Tonic with cherry garnish 1 part to 2 parts fevertree tonic and a genovese basil garnish... kind of worked.

Tried a standard Manhattan with punt e mas vermouth ..

Still not sure what to do with it. Neither was bad... just not there and show casing the oddness of the spirit... needs more experimenting.

I guess I’ll try a Martinez tomorrow since I’ve got the maraschino liquor already.

Why?
Not much on the nose, nothing meaningful in terms of flavours, heavy on the alcohol and very distinct and undesirable after taste.

Some kinda special-release Highland Park. Pretty good, and a lot smoother than its ABV would suggest

Finally got the right glasses......but the wrong drink 😁 By the way I would recommend this to anyone that likes tequila. Lots of value for the price. This is the Anejo version.
