I'm not going to pretend my palate is developed enough to taste the difference, but a few drops of this Scottish water is still pretty cool

Top tier of 5 from BP, with 8 golds and 3 or 4 trophies, good but not amazing, esp at $150 a bottle... I actually prefer their Shiraz from the tier below, by a good margin

This is really nice... bought it mostly out of curiosity expecting it might be a little over the top but it's not at all.

Bitburger Pils in the glass; IPAs are extremely difficult/impossible to find in our new neighborhood, but we are not complaining and expect a fairly quick adjustment...

Whoever said this was a good place wasn't kidding. I'm more of a creative-cocktail fan but sometimes a really solid old fashioned is all you need

Homegrown cocktail night.

I.5oz half and half
1oz homemade vanilla vodka
1oz patron cafe coffee liquor

Spray of mezcal on top to give it a nice smoky nose.

Shake on ice strain and serve over large ice cube

To make great vanilla vodka. Buy Tito's vodka as it's nice and clean, stick whole vanilla bean in it for a month.

It's basically a White Russian but the natural vanilla and slightly smoked mezcal notes pop it.
