Got a couple of the Brooklyn Quarterly Experiment (BQE, cute) beers - the "Improved Old Fashioned" is meant to resemble its namesake cocktail so should be very interesting... had to make sure I wore some funky watches to match!

 

A double Talisker 10 on the terrace at the Grove Park Inn.

 

Talisker is one of my favorite, readily available drams. If you haven't had the Distiller's Edition, I would recommend seeking it out. Cheers.

 

It was Plan B, because they were out of the Laphroaig, but I was very pleased.

 

I have a fondness for floral or sweet beers, but this was a touch sweet even for me. Even so, great for Sunday brunch!

 

Does no one drink water anymore ? What are you people trying to do, "save" the planet by reducing water consumption ?

Sure we do - water is in virtually every post here. Without water, there'd be no whiskey, beer, or wine.

 

Or quality watch movement oil.
