Honestly not a bad little combo. It’s practically healthy!

For those who don’t know, Dr. Death, is a Dr. Pepper flavored water, basically, by Liquid death - maker of other canned water variants.

Yamazaki, Story of the Distillery 2025. I cannot tell the difference between that at the 2024 edition, but it’s very nice.

BRLO Berliner Weisse

Found it in the back of the fridge. I think it's been hiding in there for about 18 months.

Still quite tasty.

I find I enjoy a good peaty whisky but I’ve become a light weight. Can’t have more than two drams or I get tipsy.

I tend to get the 200ml bottle which can be hard to find but I came across this sampler pack. Has some self described heavily peated offerings. I’m hoping they have a nice campfire taste.

This started a year or so ago when a coworker bought a liquor store and brought me a bottle of Johny Blue.

I’ll ask, you drink it warm?

Warm? 😐 Why would you think that?
Possibly because of the Hell in the name. The place Hell is supposed to be warm. Hell in greman means light. Like the German headlight and auto-electric company "Hella". Another fun one for you english speakers.

Class dismissed.

I am certainly an English speaking man but as I am a Dane, I live quite close to Germany, travel there quite often, and have several German friends AND speak German as well (though not quite as good as I used to, or even worse than I used to, if you ask my old German School teacher). Some of my absolute favourite beers are from Germany.

But I still don’t drink my beer warm 😀

Couple of recent gifts...from my wife...

Aged in sherry and bourbon casks. Mild flavour and very nice.

From a good friend...

I've had their Coffey Gin (a gift from the same person) and it was very good, and now their whisky is ready. Cask strength and when I tried it neat it was good, but a few drops of water made it even better. Love this stuff!

Drinking a Cubata and watching Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in about 45 years.
Cubata is rum and coke with brown rum.
