I need to find me a bottle! How is it?
Very good. Stronger than the 16-year-old but still smooth and very tasty.

Found this gem in the wild near where I live. It had about an inch of dust on top of the box and had been sitting on the shelf for at least 3 years. This 2017 bottling is widely considered the best limited edition 12 year Lagavulin.

After coming out of lockdown in NSW Australia, sharing a couple of aged reds with my brother.
A 2014 Clare Valley Shiraz followed by a 2003 Wynns coonawarra Cab Sav with a good porterhouse steak.

A drop of the old Cardenal. First heard about this awhile ago when reading a biography on Dr Feelgood front man Lee Brilleaux. It was a favourite tipple of his and he was a man of taste for sure. Bought a bottle and tipped half in the ( new) father in laws decanter and am hammering the rest myself!
