Just got back from San Juan, it was a quick turn and burn trip but w/some spare time to pick up a couple of bottles of rum produced in my home town —hey! we must support the local economy — this sherry-casked can pass like a decent brandy. cheers!
Whiskey nerds. Bought this a while back by mistake as a cocktail base. Turns out it’s Kentucky, Canadian Ryes finished with California Port. This is bottle number two. Mrs S. loves it. Literally a Manhattan in a bottle. Dash of bitters and a Maraschino and you are good to go. Won’t take the place of the standard recipe but its pretty nice. Curious if anyone has tried it...
