The vodka that is used in the drink has spice too. Not sure what Tabasco Habanero tastes like, but I assume it would be of generally low quality. There are so many good sauces out there made by local and smaller companies, I would never generally buy anything I wanted true flavour from, from a large brand like Tabasco. I have plenty of hot sauces, but being hot is not really the point of this drink...
Yeah. After Hababero Tabasco you usually can’t taste anything else for 10 minutes. I usually make my own hotsauce but haven’t tried it in a Bloody Mary. I usually make it with garlic and coriander but not sure how that would work in a BM
I thought I should post my whiskey barrel in this thread. My wife gave it to me last Christmas. It’s a bourbon barrel converted into a cabinet. My house is fairly rustic in nature so it suits our kitchen/dining area. I’m sure you’re peaking at its contents of which I’m quite pleased. Cheers all.
Today's Lineup: Pre-dinner Martinis (Plymouth, Dolin Dry, Orange Bitters) Thillardon Chenas (with Cherry and Balsamic Glazed Roasted Duck) Boston Bual Madeira (with Cole's English Christmas Pudding and Brandy Butter) Weller's Special Reserve
I know, I know, the glass is--meh. But it came with the house: The wine? Superlative, as Kongsgaard typically is.
Can we have tasting notes? I've fished the Deveron for salmon once before--never drank the waters though.
Very nice and mild whiskey. Fruity to the nose nice finish. I was very pleased with it. I’ll buy it again the next time I see it.
