I have, it’s good enough this way but it’s hot AF out and I added a chilled tonic. It’s solid fun, won the best of the year.

Fantastic. I checked and I see there's a couple of bottles available locally so I'm going to give it a try

I bought one on a work trip in March, love it straight, found the flavours muted with tonic

It looks like I am going to be time poor for as while (for good reasons) so limited forum and drinking time.
For now most days I will just stick to a pint of my usual :0)

Unfortunately champagnes & fine wines are wasted on me , I've tried my hardest to enjoy them over about 35 yrs but they just don't do anything for me . I just have simple tastes & a good old bottle of lager more than satisfies me , much to Mrs CPRs annoyance sometimes when we fine dine , eat out . As she would love to share a good champagne/red/white .Tried again this evening with a bottle of Chenin blanc ,Ooh can you taste the green apple & intense pineapple notes she says , err no I can't it's giving me heartburn my lovely I reply , now where's me lager 😉

Yesterday…finally got some of this:

To mix with this:

And it was tasty!

The Elderflower version not my favourite, but the regular tonic is very good!

An excellent red right this moment.

After spending an hour walking the doggos home from a band party, which I came to after driving for 3 hours straight on the M25 due to the Traffic Wombles coning everything off, following a training session in the hills

Which drops us down to a vineyard whose wine I really don't care for, the farm shop next door does this fruity light little marvel.

Glad you finally sourced some! You must be in the small group of people that don’t like elderflower. My mother is violently against it.

Or it over powered that great Gin you have there 😉

Ha! I'm not the only one who uses these fine glasses to serve a proper cocktail!

Nice! Agree, totally. Fever Tree make spectacular mixes. Their Ginger Beer elevates my loopy Mule variations (bourbon, gin, tequila etc). And that Premium Tonic is terrific. My wife and I love it - just awesome.

Now this is value for money ... aged perfectly, well balanced, packed full of "cherries" and less than £10. Available (in the UK at least) from Majestic. A real surprise.
