·My wife got gave me a Nikka single malt along with a fantastic book I recommend to you guys. It’s a nice hard cover with great pics, the history of Japanese distilleries, how they are made, and awesome tasting notes/scores of all of the Japan whiskies.

·Black Manhattan tonight. This used to be my go-to at home but I rarely make them anymore. Once I got into nice single malts I prefer my drinks neat, no ice or anything.

I got a bottle of this and have to say, I'm beyond pleasantly surprised.
Leathery with vanilla notes and just enough rough edge to be interesting.
