WRUD (Drinking) Today?

This is what I want to drink today--I found it in the cabinet beneath the bathroom sink, when I was looking for a leak in the sink drain--. I must have bought it over a decade ago at Heathrow, on the way back to Chicago--then hid it from my fishing/drinking buddies, who, when insprired, have been known to drink my liquor cabinet dry. It's a good hiding place--even I forgot about it.

I can't drink it today, I having just had hip-replacement surgery, need to wait a while as it mixes in a funny way with Oxycodone. But Christmas is coming soon....

Might want to check auction price for that one. It might buy a lot more bottyof the good stuff.

Amaro flight... it was good but uninspired... from right to left and in order ( which they forgot to tell me... granted I knew but still I think most people wouldn’t.) Montenegro which I’d not had, is a wonderful light aperitif, then Coccino, and ending on the digestife Fernet Branca.

Seriously not telling people to drink the Fernet last is a crime. But the Montenegro was amazing!

Watch is a Marvin Flying Dutchman I got from the always wonderful @efauser last year.

Oh, I checked--good idea, about $350+ for a litre--and my wife said what you said, "sell it!"--but I think I'd rather drink it, under the premise (as alam says) it's good for cleansing my skin, and also (as my therapist said) it's good for cleansing my head.

Should try amaro Meletti next, very sweet, not too harsh. About a 1/4 oz. in a manhattan definitely gives it a twist

Will do! I’ve been playing with Montenegro and it’s sweet spot is 1to 1 with rye.

Hazelburn and a Springbank. The nose in these smells like a band aid, really enjoy them both.
