Great pics @alam

Tonight I鈥檓 having Glendronach 18, it鈥檚 a fantastic pour if you like bourbon or sweeter Scotches. No smoke or peat, but very rich and tasty.

Nice collections!! Bitten by the bug, I鈥檝e been pining for a Moonwatch. So as is often the case (like, 24/7) I troll OF threads and posts to learn as much about my new obsession....and they invariably lead here!

I definitely need a drink. Scotty, beam me to Mtek鈥檚 house.

Edit - Ardbeg tonight...

I bought an Ardbeg An Oa based on reviews of it being sweet and thin. I was hoping to gradually get into the peated Islays. I just can鈥檛 do it. I let this sit, I added a few drops of water, etc. I鈥檒l never like this type of Scotch, to me it has a thick and heavy nose of bacon or smoked ham, and it tastes the same. Very oily too. There鈥檚 no sting or brightness to this one, perhaps I would like it more if it did to interrupt up the strong smoke flavor. I know peat has a following for a reason, but it will never be for me. A shame as I want to enjoy all types.

Anyone want a bottle of An Oa Ardbeg? I鈥檓 going to clean my glencairn with bleach (lol) and pour me a sherried Speyside or a Highland.

And i love all things peated...lol. Haven鈥檛 been on OF in a while but still pouring a good whisky frequently. Where the hell did you find the ETL and Old Fitz? That鈥檚 as hard to get as a bottle of Pappy around here.

@Jking I always stop by smaller mom and pop shops, check out what they have. I have had some good luck getting hard to find bottles this way.
