Would you buy a Seamaster with an AM bezel insert?

I’ve seen a few bond Seamasters pop up with obvious aftermarket bezel inserts. Just out of curiosity, would that deter you? Prices are tempting and there seems to be some OEM replacements floating around on fleabay.

Why would you? They can be had at reasonable prices in original condition. An aftermarket insert often means the original was severely damaged and the owner sheared out on repair/replacement. If this is the case, what else was damaged and not repaired properly with replacement parts.

Are we talking about a custom piece with an obviously different bezel insert for a different look?
If so, maybe I’d buy.

Or a watch with non-genuine parts that are supposed to look OE but don’t?
If so, no.
