I'm new to the Speedmaster/Omega world but was able to correctly identify the model before they posted the update. It appears to have a lot of its original parts although they have been replaced. I wasn't sure on the handset itself. Would this have been a good buy? Seems on the low end from the speedmaster101 pricing charts but there were a number of watchers and it didn't seem to bring a bunch of competing bids from the ending price. Thoughts?

Might have been Ok. Don't forget the buyer's premium though, some places that can be nearly 30% extra, so it actually cost over £10K

I was also interested and bidding on this one myself. There is an added approx. 30% hammer price for this when bidding online. So the final price was a bit over 12.000€. This particular watch had a dead DON, so no added value in this one, and for a -65 it looked very polished as there where only small chamfers any more visible on the case. So I don’t think this vent for cheap, nor expensive either? And definitely would not bid any higher without having seen the watch in person. For me the price was too much, so I stopped bidding on it at the end.
