What info I have, my grandfathers watch. Haven’t been able to find its match. Like a previous post similar to buddy holly, but the band is actually secure to the watch case it self. Any information is more than I have. Don’t know how to open the back. Will be taking it to a boutique dealer to have sent in to have restored, when I can. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. What’s the face called looks like waffle but I doubt that the name.

Anyone with a guesstimate on its value would be helpful as well.

Looks to be a custom cased movement and band

If the band is not signed. It's not a genuine Omega one. Same for the case.

Diamond chips in the bezel are usually low quality and little value.

If any jeweler is willing to buy. Ask for 20% over scrap gold value if bracelet is not damaged. Minimum. 10%

Can sell the movement and dial if all they want is the gold only

So it’s been a while. Watch went to NJ no one would touch it. So then Omega Us shipped to the Omega mother ship. They looked it over. It’s 100 percent Omega, but then came the realization, we can’t fix it we don’t have the parts. like serious not a phone call they shipped it back. Well not part we can fix it we are not touching it.
Going to pick it up tomorrow from the jewelry store. So now.
Hope they have the make etc looking forward to finding out will update

I think it is an interesting piece. Do you have a letter from omega - can you post that ? What movement is in there? Omega often won’t touch ancient watches. I think I saw one of these in one of the 1950s or 1960s catalogues. If Omega didn’t write much it would be worth paying for an Omega extract of the archives I think.
