Pretty confident this is not what the original dial should look like. Not sure if this is the worst redial but I really like how you can barely see the "Omega" and the "Automatic," very nice touch.
"YOU ARE BIDDING ON A CIRCA 1945 OMEGA 30T260 CALIBRE MOVEMENT FOR SPARES OR REPAIR FITTED IN AN ODD CASE WITH ODD RESTORED DIAL.
THE CASE IS 35.1mm IN DIAMETER AND 39.7mm LUG TO LUG WITH POORLY HAND CARVED OMEGA SYMBOL ON CROWN.
THE STAINLESS STEEL FLIP OFF BACK IS STAMPED 'DENNISON DENISTEEL 1332 6214' WITH A CRUDE HAND SCRIBED CROWS FOOT.
THE WATCH IS FITTED WITH 15 JEWEL CALIBRE 30T 260 OMEGA MOVEMENT SERIAL NUMBER 10792401 (CIRCA1945) WITH BROKEN MAINSPRING. THE BALANCE SWINGS AND OTHER PARTS SEEM OK. THE BLACK DIAL WAS RESTORED IN VIETNAM WITH IN AN ATTEMPT TO SHOW THIS AS MILITARY ISSUE WITH A CROWS FOOT AND GREY PRINTED NUMERALS & LOGO.
I AM SELLING THIS FOR SPARES OR REPAIRS ONLY THE WATCH BELONGS TO A FRIEND ON WHOSE BEHALF I AM SELLING IT. HE BOUGHT IT SOME TEN YEARS AGO IN VIETNAM ALTHOUGH REALISING ITS CHEQUERED HISTORY. STILL THE MOVEMENT IS ALL ORIGINAL OMEGA AND THE DIAL RESTORATION IS GOOD AND THE CASE IS CLEAN & TIDY.
A mostly honest description for the dial restoration is wretched, the case is beat like a redheaded step child, and he likely bought the watch.
