That might fool a n00b. If those lume dots get any bigger they might be mistaken for silver dollar pancakes.
Lumes were my first thought! How about the "stepped" portion of the dial, doesn't fit here & the hour markers seem forced applied. Interesting the extent the redialer will go to make it "work".
According to the description this is a "Genuine Omega dial in good condition with lovely patina from 1958" http://www.tradera.com/item/191501/270568923/omega-constellation-chronometer-automatic
I'm sure this one has been on here before, but WHY??? The Mary Jane dial!!! The best part is that it is RARE, yet there are 3 available. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...956438?hash=item3ad47b5816:g:XKMAAOSwqYBWo0u7Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
eBay Seller Semantics - the piece of metal is the original one. The paint & ink being redone is a technicality to sellers like this.
Dude, EVERY WATCH pre-2000 on eBay is RARE! Ignore that word completely. It's one of several that you should not even see, like "art deco", "minty", "NOS", "military", etc.

The "OMEGA" is actually OK, the whole word is a single piece of metal joined by the links between letters. It must have been polished for them to show up that much, or maybe just lighting. The rest of the watch is amusing I suppose.
The applied OMEGA was pulled off before the refinishing and probably dipped in cleaning solution, which removed the paint that usually hides the metal between the letters. IIRC, those little connectors usually are colored the same as the dial so they aren't obvious like on the watch above.
