I'd love to have that, put it in something just to see if anyone really notices. So many people nowadays just seem so immersed in their iThings, phones, and other gadgets. Only those attuned to the watch world even notice watches.

I'm pretty sure this is an outright fake. Date cutout looks way off, and if I'm not mistaken, a Speedmaster caseback wont fit a 165.024 case. Also, there seems to be too much space between the crown and the case.

Is a less than straight star a sure fire giveaway that all is not well on a Constellation dial?

Yes.

The other dead giveaway on that particular watch is "SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" which is for a ROLEX and not a Constellation.
