Desta Watch co. has high quality movements, don't they?? And I wonder just what they are hiding with the tape on the back cover...... Made in Taiwan maybe??
Desta makes a "Super Flat" that I'm a sucker for. Buy them every time I see them. Not bad stuff. Usually a common, high grade movement. Generally a big case. Looks good.

Even a complete clot like me would spot this one, a quick question though about the little star that features on this example and on other Constellations I've seen... If the star doesn't appear "straight" should this set alarm bells ringing?? I've seen this several times on various examples and it's got me wondering. Please be gentle if this is a less than sensible question... Mike.
Item listing has ended and the seller has relisted at an even higher price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Const...er-Auto-Date-Serviced-Warranty-/331485024772?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Wow http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-196...804?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cf35ef2dcPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Seller states "Omega Restored worn parts to make the watch mint. I put $450 that Omega replaced with new/unused original external parts." And was appraised at $1300? With that dial?

Here's a good one. Seller claims it is a 1968 Seamaster, yet the reference number and calibre is correct for a Geneve. Dial has a coat hanger "S", was that even used as late as 1968? Claims the dial is "ultra rare", well of course it is, on a Geneve. Also to me the movement serial just looks weird. When I inquired about this his reply is," Or I could be way off base on all of this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141592094122?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
