and for those of you who are not really into Italian (neither am I, but as a Spanish I can understand my older cousins)
"I have seen scores of Longineses, but never saw one like this before..."

You sure didn't...

By the way, 3000 Euros, some 4100 USD... these Italians are crazy.

Not an Omega, but a Harwood:

It's a shame, because both the solid 9K case and movement look to be in better than average condition.

What were they thinking? ::facepalm1::

I regret to inform all that the innocent calibre 30 has been assaulted with prejudice.

Not sure whether these two from regular contributor OC Watch should be here (they're both pretty terrible) or in the over-priced thread. Both insanely valued, especially given the quality of the dial work.

At $1250 or Best Offer: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1...321410891?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2a3799294b

And @ $1500 or Best Offer... "Oops, kinda missed the sub dial. Darn them earthquakes!": http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1...025362018?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2ece0b9862

And at least this starting price is more modest, I guess..."doggone it all, just can't get those darned numbers to fit": http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINT-OMEG...028296664?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item51baeabbd8
