From the ebay seller's description: "The original cross-hair silver coloured dial with hand riveted rhodium hour markers and original matching hands has been professionally refinished to the highest standard and looks absolutely stunning."

Good grief, I could hardly be more new and shiny here, but even *I* can see that looks a bit ropey.

I'm very much enjoying the way the minute track has been done in straight lines to create some kind of pseudo pin-pan homage.

Unless it really *is* pie-pan but masked by the optical clarity of that lovely crystal...

This Seamaster Calendar is even more uncommon than dsio's Omega Seamaster Stepped Pie-Pan Dial 2627, hands down. We can safely say, it is the only one available, world-wide - the only Sealmaster Omega, produced.

Thank-you.
Definitely it looks like done with a Sharpie!

At least that said redone, although in BS jargon. It look absolutely horrible. I seriously think I could have don鈥檛 better, or at least not worse, and I鈥檓 a stick figure artist

I will add one to the mugshot list of bad dials - in search of a new dial now . I finally got it under a magnifier and man was it scary. In this case the old adage applies - good from far, far from good!
Anybody have a serviceable dial 1950s vintage 2582?

I went through the thread, and I'm terrified!
Who would do that and for god sake who would buy that!
Unbelievable examples of filthy mixtures of stupidity/greed/ignorace and total lack of taste.

I believe that desperation is highly represented in that mix as well.

OMFG ?

As a total newbie it would be great to see alongside the fakes, inept or just plain wrong what the purveyors of these dials were trying to emulate.
yes, I could open up another tab and go looking through several decades of Constellations...

thx to those posting. Some of these dials are really poor/obvious. Personally I like seeing the crisply etched fresh engraving in a case back on a watch allegedly 50 years old

Besides the print I like this pragmatic solution to a marker problem.

This Zenith has so many jewels they had to repaint it twice. Funny it鈥檚 an 18 jewel 120t. Seller states honesty is the best policy but his location says Lahore, USA
