These are the ones I like best. The ones that look like they’ve been done by an 8 year old practicing joined up writing.
Embarrassing that the dial is not mentioned by this experienced seller. The movement doesn't look great either. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Scarce-Men...877162?hash=item5d98f0cfaa:g:dvUAAOSwVc9d9R3APurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Found on eBay. Listing doesn't mention the obvious redial but states "Verified authentic by a master watchmaker. Gorgeous, beautifully aged, vintage Omega silver dial". First time I've seen Turler painted on I think
I challenge anyone to better this. I suppose painting round the numbers might be difficult... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Reloj-Mido-Multifort-Lady-Vintage/264578878614?hash=item3d9a214c96:g:eewAAOSwu1Fd6M3J&LH_ItemCondition=2000|2500|3000|4000|5000|6000|7000Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Well...that’s not untrue, the surface under the repaint is probably “original”, and it is refurbished, and the refurbish is in “good condition”...he just omitted that it isn’t a good redial.
Hi - What do you experts think of this one? I bought it knowing it was redone, but I don't have the expertise to know if it's a good redial (if there is such a thing!) or a bad one.
For questions on watches you should make a new thread in the vintage watch forum as this thread is for known bad redials. That said- yours is a bad redial. But if you enjoy wearing it- that’s all that matters
Not a problem- common mistake. Welcome to the forum and stick around for a while- learn the nuances of these watches and join in on the discussions. You will find they are like potato chips- you can’t have just one.
Thanks. I'm already headed that way. I bought my first Speedmaster via a recommendation on the "Recommended Vintage" thread.
From the ebay seller's description: "The original cross-hair silver coloured dial with hand riveted rhodium hour markers and original matching hands has been professionally refinished to the highest standard and looks absolutely stunning."
