Ringing in the New Year with 2018's purchases, minus the Speedmaster that is at the spa. I think this was a good year, especially when you consider the fact that I only spend money on this hobby I have made from yard saling, auctions, and estate sales. The one big disclaimer is I bought the Speedy in May for only $900. Some of you may recall that thread. You talked me through the purchase as I posted on the way to buy the watch and the pics of it when I got there. This IS a great site. Thank you all for all the help during my 1st full year of membership.

Ringing in 2019 with my modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch...since 01JAN19 is also Speedy Tuesday.

LATE ENTRY: I set the alarm for 2350 on 31DEC18 so I could jump out of the rack, make final pic preparations and take a pic right at 2400/0000 hours...and I think I got the money shot...

BONUS LATE ENTRIES: The “too early, no money shot”...

...and the “too late, no money shot”...
