$6480. Yep. You read it correctly. For a quartz chronograph Wittnauer 1968 Quartz Chronograph. It does however, come with papers. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Vinta...127703?hash=item52280aff97:g:mCcAAOSwEJldh6T0Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Damn! I just bought one of those like 5 months ago, and I think I maybe paid $45 for it, if that. It was an original (Spiedel?) with the Omega logo on the clasp. EDIT, it was NOS... so never installed.

OK, it's not quite as ludicrous as some examples in this thread, but check this out - being offered at Bonhams auctions, in January, with a 27.5% buyers premium to be added. Estimate of £400-600, but a starting price of £400. For a beaten up case and scratty dial. it might be an early cal 601 manual-wind 135.033 that you don't see too often, but if it went for top estimate, that's £765 + delivery charges... Makes my 1969 166.039 beater that cost me £300, look like a bargain...
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/383318491595 I am interested in purchasing this watch but I don’t know if it is authentic or worth this much. Thank you.
I usually find the more long-winded the description of a posted watch for sale the more likely it's gonna have a startling price. you know the kind of posting i'm talking about...paragraphs taking readers for a walk down memory lane outlining the history of the brand and model and extolling the features. by the time one scrolls all the way down through the fluff and see the price it looks like the guy's phone number
I (briefly) looked at this bracelet as a match for my Driver, but somehow couldn’t get past the mental block of paying nearly as much for an original bracelet as I did for the whole watch!

More wishful thinking here. Half that price is pushing it. New hands not mentioned in the description. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Se...Calibre-1012-Watch-Vintage-1974-/333028078284Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Not a whole watch but 30k for a dial. Looking at the other items for sale, the seller may be parting out a whole watch and hoping to total 50k in parts.
