Probably it is the new marketing trend to show a large discount...

But he has great feedback, even with that wacky user name.

Not really. Only 12 points as a seller and none of them for watches. His other listings are equally optimistic.

Do you like the very last line in his add.
"Addendum: After Being In Contact With Several Specialised Watch Sites It Has Shown That My Original Price Was Way Too Little So This Has Been Amended To Be More In Line With A Fair And Feasible Price. That Said Still A Bargain Given It's Superb Condition."

Doing my trawl of online auctions unearthed this beauty...
Auctioneer estimate of £1500-2000, with a healthy 31.2% premium/tax on top.

Only a single photo to check it out, but ...
* Case looks like it was polished a while ago, but there are signs of sunburst finish under the wear and tear so it might be original
* Got the wrong bracelet
* Bezel/crystal is misaligned
* Dial is discoloured - you might call it patina, I'd say "ruined"
* subdial hands are rusty, lume's gone from the main hands and the chrono hand is a newer replacement
* the description says there's a personal inscription on the rear but no pic so who knows what it says
* God knows what kind of state the movement is in

I had a real job selling a very nicely presented (with extract), serviced, Mark II earlier this year, so even if Moonwatch prices are spiralling out of control, you can't say the same about Mark IIs. If this dog in question achieves even half of its lower estimate, there is no justice in the world...
