I've had several "conversations" with this guy about the price. You gotta love a guy who lists it for $10,000, BIN: $15,000, doesn't sell. Then relists it for $20,000, BIN $28,000. These type of sellers unfortunately prey on the inexperienced. Fortunately, so far, no one has taken the bait.
Prey on the inexperience? I call bullshit,... he must just be a little bit tapped. no one NO ONE is THAT mental (bar the seller) this will never work. that's madness I think he genuinely believes what he saying.. Incidentally im due to send him a new message today...

Maybe, but there are a lot of ignorant people in this world. Look at all the new members/post, titled "New member. Looking for advice and info on my first purchase." Keep us posted on the return message....

First of all, I'm not aware of any 176.005's in steel selling for over $4,000, let alone a gold plated version, which typically trade hands around or under $1,000 still. Then there's the bizarre red/orange sector painted onto the dial. 🤨 Finally, this description:

OMEGA DEVILLE MEN'S CLASSIC DRESS WATCH
GENTLY POLISHED TO REMOVE ANY SCRATCHES
IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER

YOU WILL LOVE THIS CLASSIC OMEGA Seamaster Jedi Chronograph

No it's not a Jedi, but that is at least somewhat forgivable. DeVille dress watch though???

To be fair tho.... RE-Dialed Restored Over Polished but they ARE selling.....

i mean a chronograph suisse with what? a Landeron 48 for £2500 is MENTAL

Something fishy is going on there, the one I posted is showing as sold for 3200 GBP back in November...

You have to admire vivid though, expert polishing and even better photography skills.

I'm posting this Connie as something of a warning to the unwary - although as it stands it definitely is too much money for this watch, so this is probably the best place to highlight it

a quite nicely executed redial but a redial all the same
(and a 'soft' case plus incorrect crown)
noted as a redone dial but also "100% authentic"
